Who should attend? Family members of persons with special needs, persons with special needs, and professionals in the advocacy, developmental disabilities, mental health and education communities.

Welcome to Fiesta Educativa’s 39^th Annual Statewide Conference. Fiesta Educativa continues its commitment to provide information to families with loved ones with special needs. The “Buscando su Voz/Finding your Voice” conference will focus on providing participants with the most current information and resources needed to help their loved ones succeed in all aspects of life.  Over 20 workshops and 2 panel presentations focusing on a variety of topics including Mental Health, Immigration, Community Integration, Health, Parent Support and Community Support Services and how people with disabilities are affected by them.

This year Fiesta Educativa is excited to award its first “Inspiration Award/Premio Inspiro” to an outstanding family member that has beaten all odds to help her family member with disabilities. Join us in acknowledging the first recipient, Elizabeth Espinoza from KFI, KTLA & PBS. Elizabeth’s and her family’s story of how they’ve overcome many struggles and continue to persevere for their beloved “Christian” is sure to inspire you to continue to gain knowledge to help meet your own goals.

Fiesta Educativa will offer an exhibitor and resource fair.  There will also be “clinics/clinicas”, available for families that need assistance to speak one-on-one with experts. Families will have the opportunity to connect with experts, disability rights attorneys, service providers and other professionals.
